CompostCenter - Compost Made in the Center
The CompostCenter is produced from organic waste and tree trimmings at the Ecodram facility - the largest urban composter in Israel.
The device was installed and is managed by the Center in collaboration with Mega In The City, the Zalul Environmental Association, the Tel Aviv Municipality, and Ecocity Green.
Turning organic waste into compost is environmentally friendly: it eliminates the need to transport waste to landfills and reduces the amount of harmful methane gas released from rotting fruits and vegetables.
90% of the funds from the CompostCenter support the salaries of the Recycling and Cleaning Department team managing the composter.
How It Works:
• The compost is packaged in reusable bags
• Select the desired number of packages
• Make sure to provide your email address and phone number
• After payment by credit card, you'll receive a receipt via email
• For compost pickup, visit the Amon booth in front of the Fairy Forest from Sunday to Wednesday, building B, floor 1. From Wednesday afternoons to Friday, at the food fair, building B, floor -1
